Art with a spalsh!
In an era where activists have declare war against art for attention, Tomato Soup have decided to play with those acts and prevent degradations with rather fun and harmless digital projection of juicy Tomato Soup 🍅.
Through time and courants, artists and their style, comes a digital splash of tomato soup to denounce attempts to make political statements and to protect the precious work of the artists.
Made by someone who loves art despite those who don’t.
Tomato soup, a splash on art!
At the beginning…
On October 14th, 2022, a group of environmental activists threw a can of tomato soup at Vincent van Gogh’s famous painting, “Sunflowers,” which was on display at the National Gallery in London. The activists were protesting against the use of oil, which was used to create the painting, and they aimed to draw attention to the impact of the oil industry on the environment.
This incident has sparked debate about the use of art as a means of protest and the appropriate ways to raise awareness about environmental issues. While some have criticized the activists for their actions, others have praised them for drawing attention to a pressing issue.Â
Tomato Soup is protesting against this form of protestation with a touch of humor and nothing more than good intentions.

Brands with a splash!

In this series, we’re taking iconic logos from the world of modern brands and fusing them with the timeless allure of art. As we drench these logos with a vibrant splash of tomato, we are adding an unexpected yet delightful element of surprise.
Our inaugural artwork features none other than the now defunct Twitter logo, bathed in the rich hue of tomato red. The splash of tomato, in its rich red hue, serves as a metaphor for the sunset of this digital bird’s song. The passing of an icon while inviting you to consider the ever-changing landscape of technology, communication, and artistic innovation. This series explores the poignancy of a visual language evolving, a conversation transformed.
Tomato Soup celebrates the collision of two worlds – the artistic and the commercial – inviting you to question the intersections of culture, commerce, and creativity. It’s a captivating commentary on how brands have become integral to our visual language, just like the classics that have stood the test of time.
Stay tuned as we unveil a series that reimagines branding through an artistic lens, with a delightful splash of tomato that adds zest to the visual landscape. 🍅

Let’s throw a splash at him and nuance his journey—where the Hyperloop wasn’t that easy and is now abandoned, The Boring Company being a joke compared what it promesses, Twitter’s market devaluation into abyss and SpaceX grappling with environmental concerns. Is Elon Musk the ultimate James Bond bad guy or a visionary with a splash of controversy?Â
Art has the power to provoke thought and inspire change.
